The inspiration for my Thanksgiving and fall tablescape this year came from the dinnerware pattern Waterbury Leaves. I found this pattern at Pier One. I got a great deal on it. I picked it up during their recent 20% off sale. I love the combination of autumn colors with a hint of gray and blue.
The place settings start with a Green Antiqued Wood Charger Plate also from Pier One. These charger plates are kind of expensive but I’ve used them for many years. I paired the place setting with basic flatware from Macy’s Martha Stewart collection as well as green napkins and napkin rings from Pier One.
The centerpiece of my Thanksgiving and Fall Tablescape starts with a burlap runner from Michaels and a leaf runner from Home Goods. Most of the elements came from the Christmas Tree Shops as well as Michaels. I really like the leaf LED candles. They add a nice touch without the risk of melted wax getting on the table.
On the buffet, I have two catering pieces from All-Clad. One is a chafing dish that Eric bought years ago from Macy’s. The other one is a beverage dispenser. Unfortunately, both pieces have been discontinued. I would love to have a second chafing dish because it is perfectly designed and beautiful. Hopefully one day I will come across one.
I just want to wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving! We are in the process of developing our menu and planning the day. Thanksgiving goes by in a blink of an eye so enjoy every minute. Don’t sweat the small stuff. The most important part of the holiday is gathering with friends and family to celebrate the season!
Check out my other Thanksgiving and fall tablescapes. They might inspire you to create your own design.
