The pan room started life after I visited a factory outlet mall almost 20 years ago. The visit turned me into a cookware freak! I made the mistake of going inside “just to browse.” Upon entering the store, it happened – I fell in love with cookware!
The store was having a “grab bag” sale. There were waist-high boxes full of black-handled, stainless steel Classic Faberware in all shapes and sizes. All the items were $5 each. I took one look at Eric, and I plunged in head-first. By the time I left the store, I was the proud owner of four new cookware pieces. The rest is history!
The Pan Room brings a lot of joy to my life. It is the one place on earth besides the kitchen that is all mine. I am definitely crazy about cookware! 🙂 My Pan Room has become legendary. It has been described as my very own Williams-Sonoma. Take a look around at some of the items in the pan room. For a history of the pan room, visit About Amy.
A Virtual Tour of The Pan Room
The pan room is located on the first floor of our house. It is a room that was designed to be an office. The room is perfect: a nice size with double doors that hides my collection.
