Camp cooking is one of our favorite hobbies. We cook on the camp stove, grill. and BBQ as well a straight over the campfire. We have a travel trailer that we take out on weekends. We try to cook something new each time we go camping.
Coleman Classic Propane Stove: This is my go-to camp stove. It is a basic two burner stove. You can use it for camping or at a picnic as well as on your backyard deck. It is a workhorse. I’ve had mine for years and I love it.
Camp Chef 2 Burner Propane Stove: If you want a camp stove that is a little more robust, the Camp Chef is awesome! It has higher BTUs than the Coleman so it can drive larger pots and cast iron. I have two of these stoves and they are fantastic!
Lodge Cast Iron Skillet: A classic cast iron skillet is a must have on a camping trip. I use it to make breakfast potatoes in the morning and fajita meat at night. Most of the time, I cook right over the campfire.
Texsport Over the Fire Camp Grate: I purchase this grate two years ago. It goes right over the campfire. I cook most of our meals over this grate.
Snowpeak Kettle: This is little kettle is great for making tea or heating up a small amount of soup. I use it directly over the campfire on my Texport grate as well as on my Coleman stove.
