The KitchenAid stand mixer has tons of accessories and attachments that help with your food preparation. This is one reason that the mixer is so versatile. Below are some of my favorites.
KitchenAid Slicer/Shredder: The slicer/shredder is one of my favorite attachments for the KitchenAid mixer. It works great! I use it to shred zucchini, cheese, and carrots.
KitchenAid Spiralizer Plus: Even thought I don’t use the spiralizer frequently, I am glad that I have it. You can also peel potatoes and apples as well as make curly fries and zucchini noodles.
KitchenAid Food Grinder: Eric really likes this attachment for grinding meat. He makes his own ground beef for burgers. I’ve also ground chicken and made wontons.
KitchenAid Vegetable Sheet Cutter: This is an interesting new attachment for the mixer. You can cut sheets out of zucchini and potatoes carrots. Zucchini sheets are a great low carb substitution for lasagna noodles.
KitchenAid 3-Piece Pasta Roller & Cutter: This attachment set will make fantastic fresh pasta. The set includes a roller for making sheets for ravioli. It also has cutters for spaghetti and fettuccine.
KitchenAid Pasta Press: The pasta press allows you t extrude your pasta dough rather than rolling and cutting. You can made a lot of different shapes of pasta by using the interchangable discs. You can make macaroni, spaghetti, bucatini, rigatoni, or fusilli.
KitchenAid Sifter + Scale Attachment: This is the newest attachment for the KitchenAid Mixer. It allows you to shift and weigh your flour right on the mixer. It then pours it into the bowl in a effort to keep flour from flying all over your kitchen.
