Christmas is a month long affair in our house. We start decorating the day after Thanksgiving. Winter tablescapes are a major part of our decoration ritual. Each year, I try to create a tablescape that is festive and full of bling. Many times my design focuses on my favorite dinnerware: Lenox Holiday.
~ Christmas 2018 ~
In 2018, I kept with the Farmhouse Elegant theme by using the same buffalo check runner from Thanksgiving. For the centerpiece, I was able to find three Merry Christmas tealight holders made of metal. I surrounded it with Dollar Tree greenery and two candlesticks. It turned out beautiful!
~ Christmas 2017 ~
In 2017, I tried to branch out beyond my regular holiday pattern. We visited the Lenox Outlet store during the year and I was fortunate to get a great deal on some new Christmas plates. I was anxious to build a tablescape around my new pieces of Lenox Winter Greetings. It was paired it with “hammered copper” chargers and a floral centerpiece from Kirklands. I love the way this tablescape came together.
~ Christmas 2016 ~
I went crazy with the tablescape in 2016. It was my first time creating a “real” Christmas tablescape. It started with Lenox Holiday and morphed into a reindeer centerpiece with two candleabras. It was a little over the top.
